Sakina Benabdelkader is a biologist and a project leader from Algeria. She is passionate about nature and medicinal plants. The main objectives of her project are the preservation and valorization of our natural resources in medicinal and aromatic plants. Her research at the phytochemistry laboratory of the university was about the biological activity evaluation, separation and identification of bioactive compounds from medicinal plants.

She was invited to attend several national and international events. She has received numerous honors and awards as the best young women-project leader. 

Sakina has served as a volunteer to contribute to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
