Dr. Ameena is Water-Food Nexus freelance expert. She has rich and diverse experience in water and power sectors. She holds bachelor degree in geology from Kuwait University, master degree in hydrology from South Carolina University in USA and PhD in civil engineering from Brunel University in London. She is also a member in the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) in UK. 

During her extensive and rich experience she developed a passion to conserve the country scarce natural resources especially water, therefore she devoted her time, effort and money to focus on demonstrating practical solutions/technologies that promote sustainable food production. 

Dr. Ameena focuses now on sharing her practical knowledge with interested farmers, scholars and students by collaborating with local entities and universities.
