Ms. Maya Mousawi is an agricultural engineer graduated from the Lebanese University. She worked as an intern at the US Agriseeds for three years, producing trials for new seed varieties for different vegetables then preparing for field days to introduce farmers and companies to these varieties and give recommendations according to their land. She then worked as a field officer in "Sama" project at the Lebanese Organization of Studies and Training managing a team of 15 youth in reforestation. As an agricultural engineer, Maya followed up with around 70-100 farmers: conducting training on agricultural practices, field visits for recommendations and extension and writing reports. Currently Maya is possessing a managerial position for an agricultural company in Lebanon.
